Summary of recent eresources changes

 There are been some significant changes to Health Library resources over the past few months. This has been because of changes to resources provided by external suppliers, changes to library resources and the knock-on effect of these changes to other services.

To make sure that you are up-to-date with everything, here is a summary:

Deleted or Decommissioned

  • Find an article from a reference etutorial - deleted due to reference to decommissioned NHS resources
  • Finding articles for a project etutorial - deleted due to reference to decommissioned NHS resources
  • HDAS (healthcare databases advanced search) - decommissioned by NICE
  • Health Library Current Awareness Service (netvibes) - deleted due to reliance on decommissioned functionality from Google Feedburner
  • Health Library Facebook page - withdrawn due to poor usage
  • Keele researchers web page - deleted; support for Keele researchers now available via the Research and Innovation Support Hub (Keele login required)
  • NHS A-Z journals list - decommissioned by NICE / HEE
  • NICE Evidence Search - decommissioned by NICE
  • Nursing and Healthcare Assistants Dashboard - withdrawn due to poor usage
  • Searching NHS databases using HDAS sway - deleted due to decommissioned NHS resources
  • Y3 Keele Medical Students Induction - deleted due to decommissioned NHS resources
