Covid-19 bulletin discontinued

 The Health Library Covid-19 bulletin has now been discontinued. You can find the last 6 issues on the Health Library website . These will be retained until the end of May, when the page will be removed. If you would like any literature searches or other updates on Covid-19 then please contact Mathew Stone, the clinical effectiveness librarian .

Delays in book transfers due to covid restrictions

 Unfortunately there may be some delays transferring books between sites or making books available due to quarantining. These services are impacted by the covid restrictions required to ensure everyone is safe. Apologies for any inconvenience. Please feel free to contact the library prior to your visit, if you want to check that a book is available to be picked up.

 You can get all the latest research on coronavirus / covid-19 by checking our Covid-19 Evidence Bulletin. You'll find articles, reviews and guidelines relating to infection control, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment. The bulletins are produced on a regular basis by Mathew, our Clinical Effectiveness Librarian. The latest issues are available on our website . The latest 3 issues of our Covid-19 evidence bulletin have now been added to the website. Here you can find a summary of the latest published research around covid-19 / coronavirus. Topics available include: Infection control Diagnosis Treatment and other resources If you want to look at research in a specific area, specialty or impact of covid-19 you can request a literature search , and our librarians will do a search for you. You can find information relating to: Public health information Shared practice Topic summaries Reviews and guidelines and many more topics A number of publishers have been making content relating to covid-19 / coronavirus freely available. New Click and Collect Service at the Health Library

The Health Library is now offering a "Click & Collect" service, starting Wednesday 1st July. This is available Monday to Friday, by appointment only . You will be able to request books and collect at an agreed time. To book a click and collect slot: Find your books  - Search on the catalogue  Library Search  for the books that you want Make a request  - Send an email to the Health Library account  health.library@keele.ac.uk  including the following details: your name, library card number, details of the books required and a contact phone number. Receive your pick-up slot  - You will be contacted to arrange a pick-up day / time. Collect your books  - Follow the instructions to gain access to pick up your items. Please try to be prompt. We are still operating under covid-19 restrictions. Please check our website for all other restrictions to our serivces.

You can find the latest issues on our website, along with a host of useful resources providing you with everything from public information, reviews and training to statistics. The coronavirus links that we have been collecting are now available on the Health Library website. These links provide information about the coronavirus pandemic, many of which are freely available.
