  From 1 st  October 2022, MPFT staff won’t be able to borrow books from the Health Libraries at Royal Stoke or County Hospital. MPFT staff will not be able to access our additional services from this date either, for instance literature search support and training.  This is because UHNM’s contract to provide library services to MPFT staff will end then.   Returning your books: If you have books on loan, please try to get your books back to the Health Library at Royal Stoke or County by the end of September. Your library services for the future: You will still be able to borrow books from MPFT’s own libraries at St George’s, Stafford and Redwoods, Shrewsbury. They can send books to your workplace to save you travelling. They also have a collection of e-books and journals as well as other services.   Due to circumstances we have to change our opening times this weekend.  The Health Library's opening times will be:  Saturday  24th September 2022 10 am - 4.45 pm Sunday 25th September 2022 - Closed.  We will open again as normal on Monday 26th September at 8.30 am.

The Health Library will be closed on Monday 19th September for the bank holiday. You can still access online resources via  the Health Library web pages .

Due to circumstances the Health Library (Royal Stoke) will be open for reduced opening times on some of the days this week.  Our opening times will be: Monday 5th September 2022: 8.30 am – 10 pm Tuesday 6th September 2022: 8.30 am –   4.45 pm Wednesday 7th September 2022: 8.30 am – 10 pm Thursday 8th September 2022 : 8.30 am – 10 pm Friday 9th September 2022 : 8.30 am – 7.45 pm. Saturday 10th September 2022 : 10 am –  4.45 pm S unday 11th September 2022 :  Closed   The Health Library at County, in the Postgraduate Medical Centre (County Hospital - Stafford) - is not affected by these revised hours. Health Library at County will be open with their usual times of staffed library service Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 4 pm; and 24 hour self-service access for library members who have pre-registered for 24 hour access.
