Trials and Tribulations of finding full-text articles in the NHS

  We know that getting to the full-text of an article can sometimes throw up unexpected errors. The complicated nature of multiple resources all linking together means that there are a lot of moving parts that all need to work together seamlessly .   Here are some of the common issues that we come across:   Too many results returned on the NHS Knowledge & Library Hub   The NHS Hub can return thousands of items from a search. MS Awareness Week 24th to 30th April 2023

  According to the Multiple Sclerosis Trust, there are an estimated 130,000 people in the UK currently diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis (MS). As a disease of the central nervous system the condition causes a wide variety of symptoms which affect the day-to-day lives of those living with the illness; often having a detrimental affect on a person’s mental health and general wellbeing. A recent survey carried out by the MS Trust found that of over 2,000 people living with MS, 56% felt that their condition impacted their mental health. MS Awareness Week 2023 runs from 24 th to 30 th April.
