We have a range of Training opportunities to help you to get to grips with services and resources on offer at the Health Library. Most training is currently being delivered remotely online. Keele University Students Medicine, midwifery and nursing students can book training to help them to develop their information skills and get the best evidence for their assignments and dissertation. The Health Library training team will be delivering literature searching training via webinars , during December. Introduction to Literature Searching     This is a  1.5   hour  course, aimed at NHS staff who want to conduct a literature search using MEDLINE and other major healthcare databases. These are currently available using the HDAS (Healthcare Advanced Databases) system that can be accessed with your NHS Athens account     You will learn how to:   Clarify a search topic   Choose appropriate sources for searching   Devise search strategies   Search for and retrieve relevant information   Sort and Save your searches     Please note that, due to covid-19 restrictions, this session will be  conducted online  via Microsoft Teams by a one of the Health Library trainers.
