MyiLibrary Update

The MyiLibrary e-book viewer interface has been updated. This update includes: updated e-book viewer, smoother navigation, easier access to reference tools, no plug-in required to view content and cross-browser compliance. However please note that IE6.0 is no longer a recommended browser and users are advised to upgrade. If users experience any problems please make staff at the Library aware. Screen-shot of the MyiLibrary viewer The Health Library subscribes to a wide range of e-books and collections are available to both NHS staff and Keele staff and students. Topics include reference titles as well as specialist subjects. E-books are available through your Athens login and can be accessed at university, at work or at home.

New online books

New additions to our online book collection are listed below. All items have been indexed on the library catalogue . Either a local NHS or Keele Athens account is required to access the full text book. Search across all the full text e-books for phrases or keywords, but visiting the MyiLibrary platform . Boost for online text books

We understand that the Health Library is not always the easiest place to visit and many people are trying to fit study around work, shifts and family life. To reflect this, there has been an expansion to the collection of online books. These titles can be viewed at home by logging in using either your Keele or NHS Athens account. This latest collection of a further 216 books has now been added to MyiLibrary , where titles can be browsed by subject, or using an author or title search. The other great advantage of online books is the ability to search the book content itself, either within an individual text or across the full MyiLibrary collection. For a quick overview on the use of e-books, please visit the online library guide . NHS Athens account holders can also use the NHS Evidence e-book gateway to search this collection of books inconjunction with e-books purchased nationally through the Core Content.
