Online forms back online

We have had a problem with our online request forms. These were not being received, even though the form indicates that it has been submitted. We believe the problem has been corrected now. However if you have made an online request since Monday 20th Feb and have not received a response from us please can you contact the Health Library. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Zetoc not available to NHS users

Message from NHS Evidence regarding NHS access to Zetoc: “NHS Evidence access to Zetoc will stop on the 31 March 2012 due to a change in the terms and conditions for access to Zetoc which the NHS cannot comply with. NHS Athens users will lose access to Zetoc from 1 April 2012 onwards .   A message to this effect will be placed beside the ZETOC link at https://www.evidence.nhs.uk/nhs-evidence-content/journals-and-databases . We apologise for this unanticipated loss in service due to factors beyond our control. NHS Evidence are continuing to explore all possible options for future access to Zetoc.”

eJournal Help for NHS Users

We use a number of different platforms to provide you with access to our ejournal collection – such as Elsevier ScienceDirect and Wiley Online Library. It can sometimes be a bit confusing working your way around the different interfaces to find your articles and some of them have a number of strange quirks. Oxford Textbook of Medicine Online

The Oxford textbook of Medicine is now available online to Keele students. You will need your IT computer username and password in order to access it off-campus – click the “sign-in” link at the top right-hand corner; follow the institution link and select Keele University from the drop-down box. You will then be prompted for your IT username and password.
