 If you work as a healthcare or nursing assistant then the Health Library can support your career development and educational activities. Here is how we can help: Join the Library At UHNM you have access to 2 libraries: Health Library for North Staffordshire - based in the Clinical Education Centre (CEC) on the Royal Stoke site. Health Library at County - based in the post-graduate medical centre on the County Hospital (Stafford) site. Your library membership covers both sites and you can use whichever library is most convenient for you. You will need to complete a membership form to join -  this is available from our website . Your membership allows you to borrow from our book collections as well as access a range of other services. Register for NHS OpenAthens Username An NHS OpenAthens username will give you access to the NHS online resources that we subscribe to for UHNM. We have updated our page about the Health Library on the UHNM intranet. If you work for UHNM and have access to the intranet you'll find our page in the Learning, Education and Widening Participation section . You'll only be able to view the page from the UHNM intranet. Here is a reminder of all the different resources that are available to our UHNM members of staff: NHS eJournals – check whether you have access to the journal you need via the A-Z list of journal titles. These titles are subscribed via the NHS and the Health Library. HDAS (Healthcare Databases Advanced Search) – single search interface allowing you to search many different databases including AMED, BNI, Cinahl, Embase, Health Business Elite, HMIC, Medline and Psychinfo. BMJ Case Reports – access the full-text and submit your own case report. BNF & BNFc – available online and as an app as well as in print at the Health Library.
