  November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and this November the charity Pancreatic Cancer Action has launched their #DeadlyKiller campaign.  According to the charity, only 10-20% of patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer are diagnosed in time to receive potentially life-saving treatment.  As such, they aim to raise awareness of the symptoms to assist with early diagnosis.   RELATED LIBRARY RESOURCES     The Health Libraries, both at the Royal Stoke and County Hospitals, offer resources related to this topic.   According to Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, every day in the UK nine women are diagnosed with cervical cancer and two lose their lives to it.  Nearly all cases are caused by an infection with certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV).
