  We’re pleased to inform you that the Health Library in the CEC will now open on Sundays from   10am to 4pm  as part of a   six‑month trial , responding to feedback requesting additional opening hours. This trial period will allow us to assess demand, usage, and feedback before making any long‑term decisions. During Sunday opening, the Library will be available for  self‑service use only . Entry will be via the  wooden door to the Library on your right , through the entrance next to the bridge. Security staff will be present to look after the space and ensure a safe environment. During Sunday self‑service, you WILL be able to: Use your  Keelecard  or NHS Library card to swipe access the Library between  10am and 4pm Access the different study spaces and  NHS/Keele networked PCs  within the Library Issue and return items using the self‑service machine During Sunday self‑service, you WILL NOT be able to: Access the Library ...

 There will be reduced opening hours at the Health Library over Easter, as below: Friday 3rd April - closed Saturday 4th April 10 am - 4 pm Sunday 5th April - closed Monday 6th April - closed Online resources will be available via the Health Library website .

 We are open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, including evening opening hours during Monday to Friday. You will need your Keele / Library card to access the Library during the evenings and on Saturday. We are only open during staffed hours, there is no out of hours access. Please check our opening times on the Health Library website before you visit. We will post any changes here.

The Health Library at the CEC will be closing earlier than usual tomorrow evening, at 6:00 PM (Wednesday, 8th January). This is a change from our regular closing time of 8:00 PM. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you currently have a 1-Day Loan Laptop, a member of the Library team will contact you individually. New Opening Hours   From 1st November 2022 Monday - Friday 08.30 -20.00 Saturday 10.00 - 16.00 Sundays and Bank Holidays Closed Remember you can still use the Campus Library 24/7 during semesters.  ( Don't forget your Library Card) NHS Members can also register to use the Health Library at County 24/7 If you have any questions or concerns, please email Health.Library@Keele.ac.uk or fill out a Comments form in the Library. We had planned to make these changes at the same time as offering 24-hour access to the library when it was un-staffed. Unfortunately, we have not been able to complete this aspect of the project due to concerns about the value of this access to members, and whether the members would be secure while using the library.  We still hope to implement unstaffed access at some point in the coming months.   Several Health Library team members have been working for additional hours each week since September 2021 to maintain the current op...

  Due to circumstances we have to change our opening times this weekend.  The Health Library's opening times will be:  Saturday  24th September 2022 10 am - 4.45 pm Sunday 25th September 2022 - Closed.  We will open again as normal on Monday 26th September at 8.30 am.

The Health Library will be closed on Monday 19th September for the bank holiday. You can still access online resources via  the Health Library web pages .

The Health Library will close at 2:30 pm on Sunday 22 March.  This is due to staffing issues related to restrictions caused by corona virus / covid-19. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

In the light of recent developments due to Covid-19, the Health Library will be reducing its opening hours in order to maintain a sustainable service. If you are planning to visit the Health Library please check our opening hours before you come. We are open 7 days a week (excluding some public holidays). You will find our main doors in the atrium of the Clinical Education Centre , at the Royal Stoke hospital site. During the weekend and after 5:30pm on a week-day evening please use the side-entrance. You can automatically access this entrance using your library or Keele card via the access control system, otherwise use the telecomm system to ask to be let in.
