Browse through  the Patient Voices collection  online or in the Library. They detail their experiences both of their condition and how they deal with the healthcare system. Topics include; mental health dementia cancer stroke eating disorders parenthood physical disability learning disability and many more You can find the Patient Voices collection in the Library rotunda (at the end of the print journals shelving), or browse the collection online via Library Search .

Patient Voices Collection We have added some new titles to our Patient Voices collection. You can learn how patients cope with long term conditions, sudden trauma and mental health issues. Montage of Book Covers from the Patient Voices Collection Come along to browse through the collection in the Library rotunda or browse online via Library Search. Books in the Patient Voices collection are available to borrow on a standard loan; DVDs are available on a 7 day loan.

You’ll be able to learn more about how people learn to live and cope with long term illnesses and disabilities. Browse the collection online using the link above or come along to the Rotunda in the library to have a look through the titles available. What inspired you to work in Healthcare?

What inspired you to work in healthcare? We’ve created a new collection at the Health Library called Patient Voices. Here you can read stories from the patient perspective of how they live with, cope and manage their and their family’s healthcare situations.
