BMJ Best Practice: access system upgrade

Upcoming access system upgrade to BMJ Best Practice Message from BMJ regarding BMJ Best Practice === We are writing to notify you of a significant upgrade that is underway to replace the BMJ Best Practice access system. We will be implementing this necessary system upgrade between November 2023 and January 2024. We do not anticipate any downtime of our service while this upgrade takes place. Why are we making these changes? To ensure the reliability and stability of our service and to support future access enhancements.     What does this mean for you?   You will be logged out of BMJ Best Practice -  When the switch to the new system happens, you will be logged out of the BMJ Best Practice app and website. You will be able to log back in again immediately. Check your login details -  You will notice messages alerting you that you will be logged out of the app. Please use the link provided to check your details are up to date. Breast Cancer and People with Intellectual Disabilities webinar Tuesday, 31 October at 15:00 p.m. CET

This webinar is available to UHNM staff. Join Elsevier and Danish Institute of Public Health on Tuesday 31 October for a 45 minute webinar to raise awareness this #Pinktober about Breast Cancer Screening, The session will focus on people with intellectual disabilities, as part of the activities of EMPOWER - Elsevier’s project which aims to make healthcare truly inclusive.  Dr. Ximena Alvira, Clinical and Research Manager at Elsevier, will be moderating a dialogue panel joined by researchers: Trine Allerslev Horsbøl, RN, MScN, PhD Lau Caspar Thygesen, professor, PhD from the Danish Institute of Public Health Dr. Janne Bigaard, MD, PhD from Danish Cancer Society  They will discuss Breast Cancer screening in research and practice, as well as the importance of including people with intellectual disabilities.  Get ready for your studies and find out where to get the best information for your assignments – at the Library! Watch the video for a quick overview of key resources for Keele students. Accessing Keele resources You will need to use your Keele login / password to log in to online resources. Library Search Library Search is our library management system and catalogue. It includes information about all the books at the Health Library as well as those at Keele Campus Library and the Health Library at County (Stafford). Search Library Search for books and borrow titles from any of these libraries. You can also perform basic searches across Keele-subscribed resources such as journals and databases to find articles on your topic. Midwifery and Nursing Databases Get good quality evidence for your assignments by searching specialist nursing and midwifery resources. Bone and Joint Week, 12th to 20th October 2023
