Google Scholar is an online search engine that limits its search to scholarly literature that is in the public domain. It searches across a wide range of subject areas. You can reach the advanced search options by clicking the down arrow on the search box. The advanced options allow you to include limits for an author, journal and date range as well as allowing you to include combinations of search terms. Problems with Royal Society of Medicine eJournals (NHS users)

The ejournal titles that we subscribe to and are published by the Royal Society of Medicine are being moved to the SAGE Journals platform. Unfortunately SAGE are having some problems providing like-for-like access and this is affecting our ability to access these titles. This involves 3 titles: Clinical Risk, Health Services Management Research and the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine. At the moment many of the articles seemed to be freely available and we do have access to some holdings via other collections and in print. We have reported the problems and hope that the publishers can resolve this issue soon. You can report any problems you experience with our eresources using our technical support form . Our journals page will show you the latest errors and fixes that we are encountering with our journals access. To access our journals collections go to the journals page on our website.

Journal access errors fixed

We have been experiencing a number of problems with access to a small number of our journal titles. Several of these have now been resolved. Please check our journals page for a list of fixed and outstanding issues. If you experience any problems accessing our electronic resources please report them to the eResources Librarian or use our technical support form .
