Dynamed Plus has been upgraded. You still get evidence-based information about a wide range of clinical conditions and diseases, but there is now increased personalisation. The name has also reverted back to Dynamed. I'll be updating all our content and help over the next few days, but all the links should still work. Dynamed is available to UHNM staff via your OpenAthens login.

We have upgraded our version of Dynamed to Dynamed Plus. Dynamed Plus is available to UHNM staff only, via their NHS Athens login. You can access this resource from our healthcare resources page . Dynamed Plus: evidence-based clinical reference tool supports patient care provides access to recommendations and guidance on hundreds of diseases and conditions includes a range of clinical calculators The content is evaluated for relevance and validity by healthcare professionals and updated on a regular basis. You can sign up to alerts, focusing on practice-changing updates if necessary. There is also a mobile app available – to download and install see our help page .

Ebsco have released a new App for Dynamed : Easier to install No serial number required From Ebsco: Features that meet clinician’s needs: Free App (with UHNM subscription) Access content offline Bookmark Favorites Email topics Write and save notes about particular topics Dynamed is available to our UHNM users via their NHS Athens username. Easy download instructions: 1. Download the free DynaMed App from the iTunes Store or Google Play. 2. Log in to DynaMed ( see our Healthcare Resources page ). 3. Click on the DynaMed mobile access link from DynaMed and enter your email address. The link will be located at the top toolbar.  An authentication key will be emailed to you. Select "Mobile" from the top menu bar and insert your email address 4. Open the DynaMed email from your device. 5. Within 48 hours, tap on the link in the email to authenticate the app. Note: after 48 hours, users will need to request a new authentication key. ...

Due to the recent global outbreak of Swine Influenza, EBSCO Publishing and the DynaMed Editors have made DynaMed’s information about Swine Influenza free to health care providers and institutions throughout the world. The DynaMed topic on Swine Influenza consolidates information from multiple sources for health care providers to stay current with recommendations for monitoring, diagnosing, and treating patients with flu-like illnesses during this outbreak. DynaMed Editors will continue to monitor information and update this topic as needed throughout this global crisis.
