RefWorks (alternate sessions may be available at the Main Campus Library ) . Individual assistance on either topic may be available as a one to one session on request.

RefWorks update

Edit: This issue has now been resolved At present there appears to be an issue with exporting references from the Ebsco databases to RefWorks. Both companies are aware of the issue and are currently working to resolve the matter. No further problems exist to accessing either the Databases or RefWorks. Edit: This issue is affecting all Ebsco folders and not just the Keele link to RefWorks.

New course

From the Wednesday 1st July, there will be a new course on the reference management package RefWorks. With RefWorks you can store references in easy to use folders, save attached files and insert citations as you type in Word. It only takes couple of clicks of the mouse to generate a complete bibliography of all references in your chosen style. RefWorks is only available through the Keele Athens login. Currently no reference management package is available to NHS staff. If you work for the NHS and have interest in trying either Reference Manager or RefWorks before purchase, please contact the training team to arrange an overview. Reference Manager training is still available on request, but is no longer supported by the University.

Refworks

Keele University has recently purchased Refworks as the new citation management software package. Access to Refworks is through the Keele Athens account , making this a far easier package to work with from home or at campus. Reference Manager will still remain on the Keele network but is no longer the supported software. Reference Manager courses will still be on going as part of the Health Library training programme . Support pages, and library based training will be available in the near future.
