NICE Evidence Search is a healthcare specialist search engine. It will allow you to search across a wide range of accredited resources that have been approved by NICE Evidence. Thus you can be confident that the results you find will be of good quality.

The results screen includes topic guides, if available, as well as your search results. You can also use the filters to focus your results more. Filters include:

  • Types of information
  • Type of Clinical Query
  • Sources
  • Medicines & Devices
  • Published Date

Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month - November 2025

  November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and this November the charity Pancreatic Cancer Action has launched their #DeadlyKiller campaign.  According to the charity, only 10-20% of patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer are diagnosed in time to receive potentially life-saving treatment.  As such, they aim to raise awareness of the symptoms to assist with early diagnosis.   RELATED LIBRARY RESOURCES     The Health Libraries, both at the Royal Stoke and County Hospitals, offer resources related to this topic.
