Learning Disability Week 16th to 22nd June 2025

 The theme for Learning Disability Week this year is “Do you see me?” – aiming to celebrate what people with a learning disability bring to society and ensuring that they are seen, heard and valued in all aspects of life.

  • Learning disability practice; Royal College of Nursing (Great Britain); (RCN Pub) – [available as a Keele e-journal from 2003 onwards; and as a NHS ejournal  2006 – 2013 & 2019 onwards]

N.B. NHS members can obtain temporary Keele IT log-ins to view Keele e-journals from the Keele IT suite in the Health Library at Royal Stoke. NHS ejournals will require NHS members to login with an NHS OpenAthens account to access articles.

V is for visit us

Why not come along and visit us? We are located on the ground floor, in the Clinical Education Centre, at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Here are some instructions on how to get here, along with a Google Street map view. We’re in the really distinctive round building you can see from the A34. The library is usually a quiet place to study or catch up on some paperwork. You can use the silent study room if you need. We also have NHS and Keele networked computers, as well as provision for photocopying, scanning and printing.
