Nursing and Midwifery students – have you found the Health Library yet?

If you are a new nursing or midwifery student starting at Keele University we’d like to welcome you to the Health Library. We are a specialist health library and are partnered with the NHS.

How can we help you?
We are here to support you and help you to successfully complete your course.

You’ll find us on the ground floor at the Clinical Education Centre. You can see our main doors as soon as you walk into the atrium.

You don’t need to complete any forms to join – your Keele card acts as your library card and you are added automatically to our library system.

We can help you to find all the information you’ll need for your studies and assignments. You’ll find lots of different types of resource, online as well as in print – books, of course, but also articles, journals, databases and links to good quality Internet resources.

It might seem a bit overwhelming but don’t worry we have lots of help so that you can get to grips with everything. Our librarians will tell you all about us at the start of the term. You can also sign-up for extra training or try one of our online etutorials.

You’ll also be able to study in the rotunda, use the printing & photocopying facilities and access the nearby computer suite.

See our web page for new students or check our Welcome tour for more details. Drop by or gives us a call if you need to ask a question.
