50 Resources for Healthcare: 19. Medicines Complete for drug reference ebooks

We have subscriptions to Medicines Complete for our Keele users as well as those who work at UHNS and North Staffs Combined Healthcare. Medicines Complete gives you access to a range of drug-related reference ebooks. Titles include:
  • Clark’s Analysis of Drugs and Poisons
  • Handbook on Injectable Drugs
  • Herbal Medicines
  • Pediatric Injectable Drugs
  • Stockley’s Drug Interactions
  • The Merck Index
To access the titles go to our Healthcare Resources page and click the Medicines Complete link; you will then need to login via:
  • the OpenAthens link if you are an NHS user or
  • the home organisation link if you are a Keele user
Note that we have slightly different subscriptions for Keele and NHS users.

All NHS users can access Medicines Complete to access the British National Formulary and the British National Formulary for Children.

V is for visit us

Why not come along and visit us? We are located on the ground floor, in the Clinical Education Centre, at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Here are some instructions on how to get here, along with a Google Street map view. We’re in the really distinctive round building you can see from the A34. The library is usually a quiet place to study or catch up on some paperwork. You can use the silent study room if you need. We also have NHS and Keele networked computers, as well as provision for photocopying, scanning and printing.
