NHS Athens login to ScienceDirect

Following the upgrade over the weekend Elsevier ScienceDirect have changed the way that Athens users login to their database and journal titles.
It is now more complicated:
  • When you click the login link (top right), select the Go to Athens option.
  • Then from the drop-down list select OpenAthens Federation and click Go.
  • From the list of institutions, click on NHS England.
  • Then enter your NHS Athens username and password.
  • Go and re-find the journal title you were looking for.

V is for visit us

Why not come along and visit us? We are located on the ground floor, in the Clinical Education Centre, at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Here are some instructions on how to get here, along with a Google Street map view. We’re in the really distinctive round building you can see from the A34. The library is usually a quiet place to study or catch up on some paperwork. You can use the silent study room if you need. We also have NHS and Keele networked computers, as well as provision for photocopying, scanning and printing.
