Cite them Right – get your referencing right

  Get your referencing right with Cite Them Right . This is the essential book to guide you through referencing. A new edition is now available to borrow. Updates to Literature Search Request forms

 The literature search request forms - for both clinical and non-clinical topics - have been updated. You can now request your literature search to be limited by patient group, by age range. selection of age range limits Simply select the age range you are interested in. You can select more than one but leave clear if not applicable. Training on Ovid Medline

 New dates are available to book on our Searching Ovid Medline training course. Searching Ovid Medline Thinking of writing your own research paper but unsure where to begin? This one-hour course will help you develop a robust search strategy which can be transferred into other databases for maximum paper retrieval. Run by UHNM and Keele Librarians, this course will help you build the ‘Literature review’ section of your paper using Ovid Medline. This course is aimed at NHS staff and Keele academics and researchers working on NHS projects. You will require an NHS OpenAthens username. Cashless payments only at the Health Library

  We are now cashless at the Health Library. If you need to pay any library charges or purchase anything at the counter we now only take credit / debit card payments. You don't need to visit the library to pay your overdue charges. The Health Library also offers you the option of paying any library charges online via the Keele University online store. Both Keele University members and NHS staff members can use the Keele University online store. Please see our website for more details on paying library charges and instructions on how to use the Keele University online store.

Include the DOI in your article request

 You can now add the DOI for an article to the article request (inter-library loan) form . This helps us to locate the article you need more quickly. Screen-shot of the new DOI field on the article request form The DOI of an article is unique identifier. You will usually see it near the reference details of an article. Opening hours at the Health Library

 We are open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, including evening opening hours during Monday to Friday. You will need your Keele / Library card to access the Library during the evenings and on Saturday. We are only open during staffed hours, there is no out of hours access. Please check our opening times on the Health Library website before you visit. We will post any changes here.
