Winter is coming – check the resilience and wellbeing collection for NHS users

 NHS HEE have added a range of ebooks to the Kortext collection to support staff resilience and wellbeing. As you prepare for the coming winter, remember to look after yourselves and your staff. Browse the collection for titles covering resilience in the workplace, leadership and management, as well as titles looking at personal wellbeing.

Kortext Collection

The NHS has subscribed to a range of useful ebooks from the Kortext collection. These include management topics and self-help support as well as healthcare topics. To log in to the Kortext collection and start searching for ebooks follow the instructions on our help page.

What about a print book?

Library Search

You can search our catalogue, Library Search, for print books available in our collections. Library Search allows you to search for books at the Health Library, Keele Campus Library and the Health Library at County. If you need a book from another library’s collection, just ask us and we’ll arrange for it to be sent to the Health Library for you to pick up.

We also have a Reading Well collection in the Health Library. Come along and look for something inspirational or just a self-help guide.

V is for visit us

Why not come along and visit us? We are located on the ground floor, in the Clinical Education Centre, at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Here are some instructions on how to get here, along with a Google Street map view. We’re in the really distinctive round building you can see from the A34. The library is usually a quiet place to study or catch up on some paperwork. You can use the silent study room if you need. We also have NHS and Keele networked computers, as well as provision for photocopying, scanning and printing.
