Get started with the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub

 The Health Education England funded NHS Knowledge and Library Hub, is a ‘one-stop’ national gateway which, for the first time nationally, connects NHS staff and learners seamlessly to a significant range of free, high-quality knowledge and evidence resources, services, and databases all in one place.

Content of the easy-to-use platform includes:

  • over 7,000 journals
  • books and e-publications including Oxford handbooks
  • one-click access to full-text
  • option to request an article copy
  • contact an NHS library
  • clinical decision support tools such as BMJ Best Practice
  • NICE pathways and guidelines
  • databases like Medline, EMBASE and CINAHL

V is for visit us

Why not come along and visit us? We are located on the ground floor, in the Clinical Education Centre, at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Here are some instructions on how to get here, along with a Google Street map view. We’re in the really distinctive round building you can see from the A34. The library is usually a quiet place to study or catch up on some paperwork. You can use the silent study room if you need. We also have NHS and Keele networked computers, as well as provision for photocopying, scanning and printing.
