B is for Books

Of course we had to mention the books! We have a healthcare specialist book collection, covering a wide range of health topics and available for a diverse array of healthcare professions. Books are available in print as well as online.

You can borrow books for a standard loan period of 2 weeks (for Keele users) or 4 weeks (for NHS users). Popular items are available on a 7 day loan. Some items are reference only.

You don’t need to remember to renew your books – they are automatically renewed as long as no one else requests them. Please check your email regularly – we'll let you know if you need to return an item.

You can search our book collection via Library Search. Log in to Library Search if you want to request an item – then we’ll let you know when it is available for you to pick up.

NHS users have access to extra online collections – you can go to the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub to search the ebook collections.
