Clinical Key is a clinical search engine giving you access to a wide range of full-text, evidence-based, up-to-date information. Clinical Key is provided by the Library Service for staff at UHNM.

Point of Care

Use the smart search engine to quickly access clinical overviews, NICE guidelines and BNF / BNFc to deliver point of care diagnosis, treatment and after care for your patients. Download the mobile app so that you have quick answers to clinical questions to support ward rounds and case meetings.

How to Access

Clinical Key is available to UHMN staff, via NHS OpenAthens login

  1. Go to Clinical Key
  2. Log in with you NHS OpenAthens username
  3. Activate your account to access advanced features.

V is for visit us

Why not come along and visit us? We are located on the ground floor, in the Clinical Education Centre, at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Here are some instructions on how to get here, along with a Google Street map view. We’re in the really distinctive round building you can see from the A34. The library is usually a quiet place to study or catch up on some paperwork. You can use the silent study room if you need. We also have NHS and Keele networked computers, as well as provision for photocopying, scanning and printing.
