Cancer resources from Clinical Key – supporting cancer awareness

 In recognition of the challenges facing oncology care Clinical Key have put together toolkits to support our clinicians in their search for good quality evidence and to raise awareness in factors affecting cancer diagnosis. 

Clinical Key is available to UHNM members of staff via their NHS OpenAthens username. It might be useful if you login to Clinical Key first before trying to access the content in the toolkits. 


Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month (March) 

Find out in your Clinical Key colorectal cancer toolkit more colorectal cancer facts for social media, journals articles, free infographic  and other relevant content. 


No Smoking Day (11th March) 

On No Smoking day help to raise awareness of the impact of smoking on lung cancer cases. Check out the lung cancer toolkit created by Clinical Key for articles and free resources.  


Prostate Cancer Day (28th March) 

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK. Read more about Prostate cancer in your Clinical Key prostate cancer medical toolkit – access articles, social media support and free infographics 


Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month (March) 

Learn more about the facts around the symptoms of ovarian cancer and spread awareness among your patients and colleagues. Open your Clinical Key account and search for articles.
