Breast Cancer Awareness Month: 12th to 16th October - activities and support from Elsevier / Clinical key


Elsevier / Clinical Key are offering activities during the week 12th to 16th October to help increase awareness of breast cancer and help you to learn about the resources you can access from Clinical Key. You can take a quiz or sign-up for a webinar.

  • Tuesday 13th - Take a quiz and win a book!. Learn more about how Clinical Key can help you to find information about breast cancer.
  • Wednesday 14th - Sign-up for a webinar "5 Reasons why you should be talking about breast cancer"
  • Friday 16th - Sign-up for a webinar "Breast cancer awareness with CoppaFeel!"

Clinical Key is a clinical search engine which includes full-text access to a wide range of journals and ebooks. All UHNM staff can access Clinical Key via their NHS OpenAthens username. For more help on using Clinical Key see our blog posts on the Information Skills for Health blog.

V is for visit us

Why not come along and visit us? We are located on the ground floor, in the Clinical Education Centre, at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Here are some instructions on how to get here, along with a Google Street map view. We’re in the really distinctive round building you can see from the A34. The library is usually a quiet place to study or catch up on some paperwork. You can use the silent study room if you need. We also have NHS and Keele networked computers, as well as provision for photocopying, scanning and printing.
