Foodbank Collection at the Health Library

The Health Library is holding a Foodbank Collection appeal, between December and January. If you would like to make a donation, there is a donation point in the Health Library to deposit your item(s). The Foodbank is currently short of the following:

  • Long Life Milk
  • Tinned Rice Pudding
  • Tinned Fruit
  • Tinned Vegetables
  • Tinned/Packet Potatoes
  • Tinned Tuna.
  • Pasta Sauces
  • Biscuits
  • Chocolates
  • Toiletries - shampoo/shower gel/toothpaste/deodorants


The Foodbank does amazing work, providing 3 days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. To learn more about their work, visit newcastlestaffs.foodbank.org.uk.
