SSoTP Library Service Changes

SSoTP have informed us that they no longer wish to have a library service from us.

What does this mean?
SSOTP staff can still use the Health Library for:

  • Borrowing books (current members only)
  • Using computers
  • Athens admin help

Access to NHS Core Content via your athens username remains the same.

The Health Library will no longer provide:

  • Literature searches
  • Training; courses or 1-1 training
  • Inter library loan requests
  • Access to Health Library purchased eJournals

What should I do?
If you want to borrow books or use the computers, do nothing!
If you need a literature search, require training or need to request articles and books, then contact: the library service at SSSFT or 01785 221584.

If you need any further information please ask in the library or contact Sally.Thomas2@ssotp.nhs.uk
