More NHS Athens Registration Problems

NICE Evidence have informed us that there are ongoing problems with the NHS Athens registration form. This may be preventing you from registering for an Athens username.

The following fixes have been suggested:
  1. Use Google Chrome Internet browser
  2. Make sure you tick all the optional boxes
  3. Use a short landline number for the telephone number
  4. Use off-NHS network if possible
If you are still experiencing ongoing problems please ask your Athens administrator to set up an account for you manually.

You will need to provide the following compulsory information (note we will not be able to process the form without this information):

Compulsory Information
  • Your title
  • Your first name
  • Your surname
  • Your trust email address
  • The NHS organisation / trust that you work for or are on placement with
  • Your job role and job title
  • Whether you are a permanent or temporary employee
  • What your contract termination date is (if applicable)
  • The department that you currently work in
  • Your telephone number
  • Your work postal address

Copy and paste this list into an email, complete the information and send your request to your Athens Administrator.

Note that requests can only be processed during the working hours of the Administrators.
