Are you new to the NHS in North Staffordshire?

If you are just starting a new job with the NHS in North Staffordshire we’d like to introduce you to our Health Library. We are a specialist health library partnered with Keele University and a number of local NHS Trusts.

How can we help you?
We’re located at the Clinical Education Centre, on the UHNS site, off Newcastle Road. You can see our main doors as soon as you walk into the atrium at the CEC.
We support a range of different medical and healthcare workers. You don’t need to be on a course. We are here to support continuous professional development, evidence-based medicine and patient care. Pop along to the library to join.
You’ll find lots of different types of resources here, as well as a comfortable learning space and access to a number of IT-based facilities. We can help you to find information easily – we have lots of training opportunities and we can even do the searching for you.

Would you find it difficult to visit us?
If you work in the community our Outreach Team can visit you to help you to access our resources, and we can deliver training at your workplace.
You can also access many of our resources online such as ebooks, ejournals and databases via your desktop.
