Book purchase suggestions

From the Campus Library: At the recent Student Experience event in the Students Union, one of the suggestions was that we should make available some way for library users to suggest books for purchase. This is now available under test.
It is accessible from the ‘My Library’ drop-down menu on most catalogue screens, or from here. Please note that to avoid being spammed by booksellers it is controlled by the same authentication as that used when you come to renew loans or reserve items.
Purchase suggestions will be checked regularly. Provided that we have your email address you will be notified whether we are progressing with purchase or not: all purchases have to be related to academic requirements and funding is limited, so we can’t buy all the books that we would like to.
Please let us know what you think of this new facility.
Health Library users can also make stock suggestions using the form available in the library.
