Delays in book transfers due to covid restrictions

 Unfortunately there may be some delays transferring books between sites or making books available due to quarantining. These services are impacted by the covid restrictions required to ensure everyone is safe.

Apologies for any inconvenience. Please feel free to contact the library prior to your visit, if you want to check that a book is available to be picked up.

Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month - November 2025

  November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and this November the charity Pancreatic Cancer Action has launched their #DeadlyKiller campaign.  According to the charity, only 10-20% of patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer are diagnosed in time to receive potentially life-saving treatment.  As such, they aim to raise awareness of the symptoms to assist with early diagnosis.   RELATED LIBRARY RESOURCES     The Health Libraries, both at the Royal Stoke and County Hospitals, offer resources related to this topic.
