Never Stop Learning from Each Other

We’re celebrating how the Health Library can help you to “never stop learning”.

Learning from each other is an important aspect of your work. Whether you are formally studying, acting as a mentor, informally learning in your department or keeping up-to-date with the latest evidence, the Health Library can help you to learn from fellow healthcare workers and students.

Share your work, studies or research

If you are attending a local conference, seminar or meeting and want to present a poster of your work, studies or research, take a look at our presentation How to create and academic poster. You’ll get hints and tips on how to share your work in a professional and appealing way.

Share unusual clinical cases

Encountered an unusual patient case? Ready to write a case report? Staff at UHNM and Keele University medical students can submit their case reports to BMJ Case Reports. Find out how you can submit from our help page. You can also browse through existing cases and access the full-text via our subscriptions.

Learn from other organisations

Want to learn what other NHS organisations are doing? Check out the FAB NHS Stuff. Other healthcare staff have shared their own projects and articles on how they have solved specific problems. Can you learn something from them? Take a look at some of the articles.

Learn from the evidence

There is a vast amount of healthcare research published every month. Want an easy way to stay up-to-date?

Sign-up for KnowledgeShare

KnowledgeShare is our current awareness service. NHS staff can sign-up to receive regular, personalised bulletins in their inbox. Learn more from our web page or ask a member of staff at the library for more information.

Request a Literature Search

Find it too confusing to get to the evidence you need? Or just don’t have the time? NHS staff and Keele academics can get the evidence focused on your needs by requesting a literature search. We’ll do the work for you. Make a request online or visit the library.

You learn from each other every day. Check if we can help.
