Get expert help from our training team so that you get great quality evidence and make the most of our resources.

We have a range of Training opportunities to help you to get to grips with services and resources on offer at the Health Library. Most training is currently being delivered remotely online.

Keele University Students

Medicine, midwifery and nursing students can book training to help them to develop their information skills and get the best evidence for their assignments and dissertation. Scheduled courses are delivered as part of the Keele “In a nutshell…” series.

Keele University staff working in the faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences can request a 1-to-1 induction with the Health Library training team. Find out how to use specialist healthcare resources to support your teaching and research and make the most of library services.

We also deliver training for classes. If you would like a session to fit into your teaching programme please contact the training team.

NHS staff at UHNM can book on scheduled training webinars or request a 1-to-1 training session. We can help you to develop your literature searching skills and use NHS-based resources to get essential evidence you need.

NHS staff working for North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare, GP practices and CCGs in Staffordshire can book training with the NHS Outreach Librarians. They can offer bespoke training, delivered to suit you and your teams.
