Get expert help from our training team so that you get great quality evidence and make the most of our resources.

We have a range of Training opportunities to help you to get to grips with services and resources on offer at the Health Library. Most training is currently being delivered remotely online.

Keele University Students

Medicine, midwifery and nursing students can book training to help them to develop their information skills and get the best evidence for their assignments and dissertation. Scheduled courses are delivered as part of the Keele “In a nutshell…” series.

Keele University staff working in the faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences can request a 1-to-1 induction with the Health Library training team. Find out how to use specialist healthcare resources to support your teaching and research and make the most of library services.

Reminder: Health Library open for reduced hours over the Christmas holidays 2025

  The Health Library will have reduced opening hours over the Christmas holidays. Wednesday 24th December - Open 9am-4pm Thursday 25th- Sunday 28th December -  Closed Monday 29th- Wednesday 31st December - Open 9am-4pm Thursday 1st January -  Closed Friday 2nd January - Open 9am-4pm Normal opening times resume Saturday 3rd January. Please check our website for  current opening hours . Online resources are available via  the Health Library website .
