Using eBooks - get full-text of key titles

If you are away from the University for the Christmas holidays or you don’t want to travel in to visit the library, remember that you can always try our online ebook collections. EBooks are available online 24/7.

Keele University Staff and Students

All the ebooks accessible to Keele University staff and students are listed on Library Search. You can complete a simple keyword search then use the filters to focus on the ebooks available. Log in when prompted to access the full-text. 


NHS Staff

NHS staff can access a number of different collections: 


Library Search

Many ebooks available on Library Search are also available to NHS staff working for our partner organisations. You will need to log in with your NHS OpenAthens username when prompted, in order to access the full-text.  

Clinical Key eBooks

Clinical Key includes a range of key clinical specialist ebooks. This collection is only available to staff working for UHNM. Log in with your NHS OpenAthens username. 

Kortex eBooks

You can access a collection of ebooksdelivered via Kortex ebooks, subscribed to by the NHS Core Content collection. This is a wide range of varied titles relating to healthcare. Log in to the collection using your NHS OpenAthens username. 

Oxford Handbooks Online

We subscribe to a number of Oxford handbook titles. This collection is only available to staff working at UHNM. You will need to log in with your NHS OpenAthens username to access the full-text. You can find a list of the titles available on our website.
