Training Opportunities at the Health Library

You will find lots of help available at the Health Library:

Scheduled Training Programme
We run a scheduled training programme throughout the year. You can book on a number of different training courses to help you to develop your literature searching skills and use our resources effectively. You can book online or contact our trainers to reserve a place.

Training at Work
Our trainers can visit you at work to deliver bespoke sessions for you and your work colleagues whether as part of meetings, training events or on a one-to-one basis.

One-to-One Sessions
If you struggle to fit in a scheduled course our trainers will try to arrange to deliver you a one-to-one session at your convenience.

Online eTutorials
We have a number of short, bite-sized etutorials to help you get started using our resources or to help you to develop your information skills. Our etutorials include multimedia and interactive elements.

National Epilepsy Week 19th – 25th May 2025

  This year, National Epilepsy Week takes place from 19 th to 25 th May with the aim of raising awareness for all those affected by epilepsy and highlighting what treatments and support are available to help those who suffer from the condition.
