Finding NHS eJournals

The easiest way to check whether you can access an ejournal is to check via the NHS Journal List:

  1. Go to our Journals page
  2. Select the NHS Journals option
  3. Log in with your NHS Athens username / password
  4. Search for the Journal title

You will be able to see

  • Where we subscribe to the title – it may be via a database collection, rather than directly from the publisher
  • What holdings you can access – check whether the year / volume you need is covered by our subscription
  • Link to the journal page – you can link to the location where we hold the subscription. Note that you may be required to login to the providers’ website
