The National Patient Safety Agency is part of the Department of Health that looks to improve patient safety. You can view the patient safety incident reports . Data is collated in order to identify trends and so develop resources. You can access links to a range of data including alerts and incident reports, as well as a number of toolkits and guidance on best practice. You can search the resources by topic, healthcare setting or clinical specialty. The latest news is available here .

Please provide as much information as you can on the form. This will be sent to the eresources librarian who can then investigate the issue and we will get back to you to help you to resolve the problem if possible. This process will help us to identify common problems and raise specific issues with our suppliers. Hopefully issues can then be tackled more speedily and corrected. 50 Resources for Healthcare: 25. Search for clinical evidence via TRIP

The TRIP database is a search tool that will help you to find good quality research evidence. It can help you to find synopses, systematic reviews, guidelines and key primary research as it searches across a wide range of healthcare specific resources; You can also find information such as images, videos, patient information and more. The search engine is freely available on the Internet. Type your keywords in to the search box for a simple search or use the advanced search options for more complicated searching. We have noticed that some students are experiencing problems renewing their library books online. Please telephone the library renewals line on 01782 679577 and we will renew them for you, if possible. Can all staff and students who are borrowing books over the Summer vacation please note that items may still be recalled by other borrowers and you should have a contingency plan for returning your items.
