World Hepatitis Day, an event created by the World Hepatitis Alliance, aims to raise awareness of the huge scale of this viral infection, informing people of who might be at risk and about how to avoid infection. The event is coordinated by patients, for patients, aiming to prevent not only new infections, but also to deliver improvements in the health outcomes for people living with hepatitis B or C.
