World Hepatitis Day 28th July 2012

RELATED HEALTH LIBRARY RESOURCES

Around 1 in 12 people throughout the world live with chronic hepatitis B or C, yet awareness of this disease is inexplicably low. World Hepatitis Day, an event created by the World Hepatitis Alliance, aims to raise awareness of the huge scale of this viral infection, informing people of who might be at risk and about how to avoid infection. The event is coordinated by patients, for patients, aiming to prevent not only new infections, but also to deliver improvements in the health outcomes for people living with hepatitis B or C.

Here at the Health Library we have numerous resources related to Hepatitis and Hepatology. In the lists below you’ll find information on our most popular items, materials recently added to our collection and available periodicals.
