Economic and Social Data Service

The NHS Athens access to the Economic and Social Data Service (ESDS) will cease from the 4th Aug 2009.

UK Data Archives, providers of the service will be moving away from all Athens authenticated access from this date. It will be possible to register for a free personal login to the service from this date, by completing an online form available on the ESDS website.

The NHS is currently reviewing online authentication method to ensure that similar losses do not occur in the future.

Christmas opening hours at the Health Library 2025

 The Health Library will have reduced opening hours over the Christmas holidays. Wednesday 24th December - Open 9am-4pm Thursday 25th- Sunday 28th December -  Closed Monday 29th- Wednesday 31st December - Open 9am-4pm Thursday 1st January -  Closed Friday 2nd January - Open 9am-4pm Normal opening times resume Saturday 3rd January. Please check our website for current opening hours . Online resources are available via the Health Library website .
