Psoriasis Awareness Month August 2023

August is Psoriasis Awareness Month – initially introduced by the National Psoriasis Foundation in the United States (as Psoriasis Action Month) it is now recognised globally in order to raise awareness of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Psoriasis is more than just a skin condition, and it can affect people physically and psychologically. It is currently estimated that it affects between 2% and 3% of the UK population - up to 1.8 million people.
