Changes to OpenAthens password policy

 I have had notification of a change to the openathens password policy ie the rules determining what password is acceptable. Rules: New minimum password length of 10 characters for users and administrators. The password must meet a minimum complexity score assessed by an industry-standard password strength checker. When does this happen? Begin July (date unspecified) - rules applied to all new accounts created. If existing accounts are amended, then users will be prompted for password change. 1st September - admin account holders will start to see prompts to change password if it does not comply with the new rules. You can defer but account will be expired if not done within the month. 1st October - user account holders will start to see prompts to change password if it does not comply with the new rules. Your Health Collection – a selection of books and digital support resources for NHS staff

  NHS Knowledge and Library Services are working in partnership with T he Reading Agency to provide a new collectio n of 10 books and 30 online resources to NHS staff via their library . F or the first time, the collection will also be given to 120 prison libraries in England .     T he theme of the collection focuses on supporting better general health, including topics such as ag e ing well, women’s health and menopause, men’s health, life as a trans person and better mental wellbeing.      Funded by Health Education England, the collection has been chosen with the various communities involved for individuals to use themselves or to help them understand someone else’s health issues.     A copy of each of the 10 books will be sent to over 300 NHS and prison libraries across England . Whether you want to create your own bespoke patient information or find something ready-made, take a look at the options below. Main resources to help you to find patient information: BMJ Best Practice   BMJ Best Practice is a clinical decision support tool, offering evidence-based information on a wide range of conditions and diseases. Select the Patient Leaflets option from the top menu bar. You can then either browse the A-Z list or search for the condition.
