We are encountering an intermittent problem with the automatic approval process for new and renewed NHS OpenAthens accounts. Accounts which are registered with an NHS-based email address should be approved automatically by the system. However it looks like some are not being approved but are being added to the "waiting" list.
These accounts will be processed manually. However if you are experiencing problems do get in touch with your OpenAthens administrator.
