The following statement has been issued by Keele IT: ***** Once a year IT Services test our ability to recover from a major disaster by switching off the data centres and checking that the systems can be recovered. Our Disaster Recovery event will be taking place from 08:00 until approximately 18:30 on Saturday 16th July 2016. What does this mean for staff and students? On Saturday 16th July, access to IT systems, whether on or off campus will be affected. Access to SCIMS, KLE, eVision will be affected for part or all of the day. If you are on campus then telephones, wifi and network connections in offices, IT Suite or Labs will be affected for part or all of the day. If you access services from RSUH campus including the internet, library system and Eduroam then there will be disruption to these services between 8.00 am and 2.00 pm on Saturday.
