eJournal Help for NHS Users

We use a number of different platforms to provide you with access to our ejournal collection – such as Elsevier ScienceDirect and Wiley Online Library. It can sometimes be a bit confusing working your way around the different interfaces to find your articles and some of them have a number of strange quirks. To try to help you out we have created some online guides; here you can learn:

Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month - November 2025

  November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and this November the charity Pancreatic Cancer Action has launched their #DeadlyKiller campaign.  According to the charity, only 10-20% of patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer are diagnosed in time to receive potentially life-saving treatment.  As such, they aim to raise awareness of the symptoms to assist with early diagnosis.   RELATED LIBRARY RESOURCES     The Health Libraries, both at the Royal Stoke and County Hospitals, offer resources related to this topic.
